マザーテレサの祈り

昨日で、マザー・テレサが天に召されてから、ちょうど１０年たちました。いろいろなところで、マザー・テレサの愛を偲ぶイベントもあったこととおもいます。また、ひとりで静かに、マザー・テレサの愛に思いをはせたカトリック信者の方がたも多くいらっしゃったのではないでしょうか・・。
１日遅れて恐縮ですが、マザーの美しい祈りの言葉の一節を、皆様と分かち合わせていただきたく、またまた投稿させていただきました。

「主よ、あなたご自身が私の存在を完全に支配してください。
私の接する人々が皆　私の中にあなたの現存を感じとれますように。
私を見る人が、私ではなく　あなたをこそ私の中に認めますように。」

Hallo, Pax Christi!

Thank you for your kind relief.
Now I finished a pilgrimage to Israel and stay in Germany.
It was very hot in Israel; never a rainfall, everything is dry.
It’s too much “dry” for me, for a “wet” Japanese, not only the climate, but also the political and religious appearances.
I realize now why it is so difficult to keep a “peace” in that harsh and wild land, in the Mideast. That must be a reality of our world in fact.
The only exception is the peaceful scenery of Galilea: the sea and the mount of Beatitude, the home of our evangel.
In Jerusalem people who believe in different religions (Jewry, Islam and Christianity) live together any way.
I’ve reflected many things about peace among the human race and the meaning of our constitution especially the Article 9 during the pilgrimage.
I shall share it after return to home.
